Unofficial Artist Residency at University Hall (2019)
This project emerged after two events that caused upset in the student body at Brown University in 2019: namely, the refusal on the part of the administration to meaningfully recognize a divestment referendum which voted in the affirmative, and the revelation that the university explicitly provided special accommodations to students who came from more privileged backgrounds. As a protest, an Unofficial Artist Residency emerged outside the office of the President of Brown University on April 29, 2019 from sunrise to sunset. The intervention was documented through Instagram stories.
