The performance for Jessica Stockholder: For Events comprised of narrative monologues interpolated with songs sung and strung by voice and guitar. Dealing with the possibility of crafting a persona who communicates with a public in varying levels of legibility, the performer alternated between six colorful glittered fez hats that each corresponded to different moments and movements in the performance score and featured live original music.
